Zelda Dashiell was born in Allen Maryland.  She has been singing for over thirty years and acting as well.  She is a talented, sensational Singer with a passion for song writing. Her original songs “Cease The Fire”, “World Peace, I’m Free and Cancer” are all global messages. Zelda always writes from her heart and gut and sings from her soul. Zelda joined the “No Color Line Productions”  because she loves the creative work it produces and the imprint it intends to make in the world.  Zelda is extremely proud and humbled to be the associate producer of this historical documentary

Zelda is a woman with irrepressible optimism, sense of humor and a positive attitude.  Her acting performances include the amazing portrayal of “Sojourner Truth and Jane Pittman”.  Zelda believes singing will always have a place in her life. It’s her personal “ little shining light” that she learned from growing up singing in her community church.  Zelda graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her tenacity and passion for all human beings are exemplified in her song writing. A proud member of the National Congress of Black Women inspires Zelda to be of community service.
